For some reason, I always find myself drawing this weird shape whenever I'm holding a pen. I never thought what this shape means or why I constantly draw it, until a friend of mine who was setting next to my in a translation class asked me why do I keep drawing it? At that moment I didn't have any answer, so I told her that I'm just used to drawing it...
In another conversation, my friend was telling my about a game she played with her team, in which everyone of them was asked to draw something that represents him or her. I kept thinking what would I draw if I happened to be in here place! and the single thing that came to my mind was -of course- this weird shape, but I still had to think how it represents me...
So, here is all what I could think of:
- I learned to draw this cube when I was in third secondary, in the Math II course, and I used to see the teacher drawing it on the board without any rulers and it always looked perfect. I wondered how he did it; so, I kept drawing it over and over again, and now I find myself unconsciously drawing it!
Conclusion: I’m seeking perfection. - In mathematics –which was one of my favorite subjects- the hardest and most impossible problems always have solutions, you just need to think and rethink.
Conclusion: - There are no problems without solutions.
- If you ever got stuck, then it's time to think DIFFERENT.
- When I first started drawing this cube, it didn’t contain any dark spaces, but with time I found myself coloring this space in the middle.
Conclusion: Everything has a bright side as well as a dark one. - The first thing that attracts anyone’s attention is this dark space, even though the white space is larger.
Conclusion: We always tend to focus on the negative side of almost everything in our lives, ignoring the other blessings we have, which results in a state of depression and dissatisfaction with life in general, while we can easily avoid all this by just focusing more on the bright side. (However the dark side shouldn’t be neglected, or it might grow bigger and bigger till it over takes the whole view) - If you focused on the dark space, you will find that it forms the shape of a bonbon!
Conclusion: Every problem comes with a gift! However, we hardly recognize this gift because we are always focusing on how bad the problem is.
This gift might be more strength added to your soul, or more wisdom added to your heart, or even just another experince added to your days...
